Time to Update...

I've been such a blogging slacker lately... I don't know what it is!! But I've finally decided to put up something so maybe people will keep coming to look at it! Maia and I have been home for just 1 week now, but we have settled back into the routine (pretty much!) and it feels like we have been back forever! It helps that the weather is still nice and we can get out and play a lot. We did lots of fun things this last week before David officially started school on Monday (yesterday). We went to a little place called Olcott Beach with our friends the Fox's. They have this little vintage carousal park where they have rides for the kids for 25 cents a piece--you can't beat that!! Maia loved them so much. I thought she might get a little worried on some of them, but I should have known better--this girl is a little daredevil with hardly any fear at all.
Saturday was a beautiful day and so we decided to take a little family trip down to Letchworth State Park....the place they call the "Grand Canyon of the East." It really is so beautiful there. We had fun hiking around and just being together as a family.

Here are some pictures from Olcott:

I love how excited and happy she is in this picture...I think it's because she was in charge of the machine gun and was shooting Lucas or Xander.

...And here are a few from Letchworth:
And these next pictures are just some more favorites from our family photo shoot while we were in Utah...Thanks again Jenny! I'm having a hard time picking out which ones to get printed out...there are too many good ones to choose from! I wish I could post the whole CD and let everyone take a vote....but there are about 400 pictures on there, so not really a good idea!!
The picture below is a classic example of what we get when we tell Maia to say "Cheese!"

Don't these look like they could be our engagement pictures??
I love this one of David and Maia!! SO cute.

Oh you guys are so cute! All those pictures are fantastic! You need to get on to one of the online sites were they have like 50 free prints and take advantage! Then you could just put them in a few collage frames... I love them! Glad you are back, someday some year we will have to do something!

Loved the update! Your family pictures are adorable. I wouldn't know which one to pick either. I am excited about the video. I will get a disk of the pictures in the mail to you as well. Thanks again for such a great time on the river.

River says: maia- when you close your eyes like that it makes me laugh!
(she is referring to the picture of Maia during your family photo shoot).

You three ALWAYs take such beautiful pictures. I agree with Chantel. You should do a family photo shoot collage because there are way too many good ones. Then just grab the first family one that comes to mind to blow up!!

Hi! What wonderful family pictures! You look beautiful by the way! I'm glad there is still good weather and you can enjoy all the beautiful scenery there! I love the sun, but I really miss the trees and water and trails. But I am definitely feeling more stable--I think all the vitamin D has restored my seratonin levels to normal again :)
So I really hope you know that my offer is totally serious about coming here--my doors are always open!!! Just keep checking out those cheap tickets!
And thanks again for being my running coach! I have started running here 2-3 times a week and I feel great. I push Joseph and Kimball in or regular double stroller and let me just tell you...whew...pushing 70 pounds around while trying to get my big booty running is no easy task, but you inspired me--thanks!
And I hope you get to go to the beach all through October!!!
love, Lindsay
