Out on the boat

This weekend we got to enjoy David's pride and joy...his fishing boat.....however, the motor is in the shop getting some kinks worked out, so we just floated and rowed it ourselves. Personally, I kind of prefer it that way! It takes me back to working river trips with my dad in the summertime, only this boat is a little easier to maneuver! The creek that we went on is called Tonawanda Creek and is right by our house. The weather has been so beautiful lately and so we have been enjoying ourselves, being outside as much as possible! There are a lot of ducks on the creek and Maia loved looking at them. This was her first time in a boat and she did pretty good for the most part...she got a little squirmy at the end. We're breaking her in early and getting her ready for the river trip next summer.....she will love it!

Wow, I got onto your blog, what a great invention. I remember taking my daughter outside in Rochester, and the mosquitoes attacked!! Wow, a beach, too. I hope you are an inspiration to other mothers to teach their kids to communicate earlier and better. We made life long friends in NY, too. Great adventures!! Thanks for sharing with us. Love you, Sharon
