This is our latest picture of the family, taken on the beach at Christmas. I thought it turned out pretty good, so I decided to post it. Maia has a great smile...but there's a good story behind it. It was getting kind of cold outside since it was getting towards evening time and Maia was getting a little bit cranky and not really in the mood to smile for the pictures. The only way we could get her happy was if David threw her up in the air. She would come down just laughing and laughing. So notice how David's hands are...he had just barely caught her and the picture was snapped at the most perfect time. Whatever works right?

Who took that picture? It's totally off center.
River was very grumpy during the photo shoot. It's because I made her take of her pink shirt and put on a white one. I know...I am a very mean mom. We had to bribe her with candy to get her to smile. But like you said- whatever works, right?

Looks gorgeous! I was going to tell you to enjoy Maia not having too much hair...it doesn't do any good to have it and not be able ot style it. Isabel won't let me do anything more than comb it...I've tried ponytails and just clippies and they are either immediately pulled out, or she purposefully just shakes her head so that I can't get a handle on her hair to make it cute. ANYWAY, Maia doesn't need lots of hair to be super cute!
You all look awesome! I wish I could say that throwing me up in the air would make me smile but at this point in life I think I would scream with great fear!!!
