So I debated whether or not I would post this picture(especially since my blog is not private), but it was so funny and there is hardly any exposure so I thought it would be okay. And besides, I had to post SOMETHING so I could stop looking at my last post....that weather was SO last week, how annoying to still have that there! Anyway, a few days ago when Maia went into the bathroom to go potty she insisted on getting a magazine from the cupboard before she would get up on the toilet. I was waiting to see what she was going to do with it...I guess the picture tells all...she just needed a little reading material, just like her dad! It was really cute.As a side note, lots of people have been asking me about how Maia is doing with potty-training, so here's the update...she is fully potty-trained (well she still wears a pull-up at night but is usually dry in the morning), and has done so amazingly well with it. I started the process just before her 2nd birthday at the end of November and while we did have our days of accidents, she really took to the whole idea right away...treats definitely helped!! By December, she had the whole idea down pat. I can honestly count the number of accidents she had on two hands, so I feel quite lucky. You always hear such horror stories with potty-training, so I couldn't believe it when she pretty much just potty-trained herself. I'm definitely not planning on any of my other children being that easy, but I am so thankful to not have to buy/change her diapers anymore! Especially since we are having another little one come our way in such a short time! Speaking of the little one, have you noticed on my pregnancy ticker how close I am getting?? And it might be even closer than what that says because I will probably be induced a week early....that is TOOOO soon!! I think that most women about this time start to really be over being pregnant and start counting down the days until they deliver...I am the opposite...I am having such anxiety about having TWO kids that I am thinking I maybe should stay pregnant for another 6 months or so (okay, not really), but I seriously am so nervous!! Will I ever be able to go anywhere?? Will I ever change out of my fat pants and do my hair cute?? (oh wait, do I even do that now?) Will I be a sleep deprived maniac?? I am just thankful that I have such good friends here who I know I can count on to take care of me and make sure I shower, brush my teeth, and change my clothes at least every other day after the baby is born....

That is so funny! I have visions of my kids going the same thing! (Just like their dad too!) I am sure you are gonna be a great mom of two! I am so excited for you!
I am so glad you didn't post a picture of Dave and his reading material...We have a picture of Allie sitting on the pot at that age reading a Dental Journal it is SO funny. 2 kids isn't so bad, after the feedings mellow out it is pretty good, and Maia is a good girl so you will be fine! Try 3 with A LUKE I haven't gone ANYWHERE alone yet! I am terrified!
