So I was wondering...does it make me a bad mom if my 3 year old's favorite song is "Party in the USA" by Miley Cyrus?? And does it even make me an even worse mom if she knows the words to the chorus and wants to have "dance parties" every time she hears it? (I have to blame that one on my sis Sienna...) Maia often asks to hear "our song" and then right when it comes on she says "Come on Mom, lets have a dance party!" And she is really good at the "nodding my head like yeah" part and the "moving my hips like yeah" part...it really is the cutest thing...so maybe I shouldn't encourage this behavior, but it is so much fun to dance with her and see what moves she comes up with!

Oh what a horrible mother!! :) Haha, it was too funny reading this because all I could think about was the rap/R&B music I listen to in the car with MY child!! Here I am singing along to Kesha saying "Everybody getting crunk, crunk. Boys trying to touch my junk, junk"!! Seriously, did I just write that, because it just cemented how awful it is!! Miley is probably gospel music compared to Jay Z, so it looks like I need to get my act together. It just that.... who can resist a dance party?! :)(Way cute Christmas pics by the way!)
If you're a bad mom, I'm a horrible one:) That's not even a bad one to have her be singing, McKinlee knows a few as well. It just makes me laugh and smile, whata do.........looks like you had a great time in Cedar, it would have been fun to run into you..........
I think it is cute & fun! My nieces favorite song is the sweet escape by gwen stefani. She is also 3! Gotta love those girls & their becoming DIVAS!!!!
That is our favorite song too!!! We were introduced by my sister in Dec and we have dance parties in the car all the time. I think it's great!
I just wish we were there to have dance parties with you guys!

That is hilarious, because Jude totally has a crush on Miley Cyrus in that video. I will admit, sometimes when "I" feel like having a dance party, I will turn on that video/song, and i will dance and Jude will just stare at her the whole time.
