What have we been doing lately? We've definitely been busy and once again my blogging has taken the back burner. Here is a brief synopsis of what we've been up to:
*Elsie got potty trained!! We spent the week of David's spring break potty training...not the most fun vacation for David I'm sure, but well worth it for me! She did great and I am once again going to be blessed to only have one in diapers YAY!! I love little bums in undies...seriously one of the cutest things ever. And Elsie's bum is especially squishy and squeezable:)*We've had a few {sporadic} nice days, so we've gone for walks, splashed in puddles, and gone to the park.
Elsie and Lilly are two peas in a pod...so cute!
I love these pictures below of Maia and Elsie...helps me remember that they really do love each other even though some days I wonder!!
*David flew to San Antonio, TX and Albuquerque, NM (and left me by myself for 6 days) to check out some different job options. It was determined that the next destination is..... Albuquerque, New Mexico! We are excited and relieved to finally know where we are going and that David will actually be earning money soon! But there is also a TON of other stresses that come with the move...I won't even get into that! (This picture was taken right before we took him to the airport)...*Maia performed in her Pre-K spring concert. It was the cutest thing. They have been practicing these songs for weeks now and she was so excited to perform for all of the parents.
Here are Maia and Rylee, excitedly walking down the aisle to go to the stage...Performing the songs...
Goofing off afterwards...
And then posing for pictures (per Maia's request) after the concert.
Silly sisters...
*David and I celebrated our 8 Year Anniversary! Crazy to think we've been married that long!
*Elsie cut her chin open and had to get 5 stitches. She slipped on our tile floor after getting out of the bathtub and hit her chin hard on the marble divider between the carpet and the tile. It was so sad! I made David take her because I couldn't even think about watching her go through it all! He said it was hard to watch seeing how 4 people had to hold her down, but that she was completely happy afterwards, especially since she got a Popsicle out of it:) She is fine now, but just can't stop pulling at the dang stitches!Showing me where the "owie" is...
*Projects, projects and more projects!! I have had a HUGE list of things I've wanted to get done this winter, and I'm happy to say, I've gotten most of them done! Here are some of them:
-Baby's quilt and bumper pads (this is the only project I've taken a picture of...I hand quilted this thing and it took FOREVER! I'm always happy afterwards though. The bumper pad is made of the blue and brown polka dot fabric that is in the quilt. It turned out so cute, thanks to my mom's help on that one!)
-Jean quilt
-Crocheting projects of all sorts, including lots of props for baby brother's photo shoot
-burp cloths and blankets for the babe
-Family file folder games for church
-Family Home Evening packets
-Nursing Cover
-A few presents for the girls when the baby comes (have to keep these a secret though for now...)
-I guess that's all the projects...still on the list...bibs...
*The girls got their Easter pictures taken! Of course, I absolutely LOVE how they turned out! Here are just a few:

Hooray that you figured things out for the future! I'm so sad though that you won't be coming to San Antonio. But I'm glad you're still going to somewhere warm and sunny! Enjoy it! The entire year we were in El Paso I told heavenly Father everyday how grateful I was for the sun and warmth. Soak up that vitamin D!
