Sandia Peak

For FHE one night, we decided to take the Tram up to Sandia Peak. It is supposedly the "world's longest tram" and it was quite the ride! You start out at an elevation of 6,559 feet at the base and climb to 10,378 at the top. All in this little car that has windows all around it. Kind of scary to look out over the edge that's for sure! It was really fun and is a definite "Must Do" for anyone that comes to ABQ for a visit. We hiked around at the top and had a little picnic dinner before we had to head back down the mountain.

I LOVE looking at a big city from a distant at nighttime. I think it is one of the most beautiful things. This was the view from the top just as it was getting dark. So amazing!
