Last night we had the missionaries and our friend Allison over for dinner. Since Allison isn't going to be here tomorrow for Maia's real birthday, she decided we should have a little celebration with her last night too. She made this cake and brought over a present....she is so sweet! Maia had a blast ripping into the paper of her present. She was a little hesitant touching her cake at first, but she warmed up to it after a little while David is SOOO excited to see her dive into her WHOLE cake on her birthday. I'm sure we'll have some great pictures to post after that!
Maia loves the missionaries! Here she is taking a pony ride on Elder Anderson. After this, she wouldn't stop trying to get on his back, all the while signing "more." He was a good sport to play along, and especially to let us take pictures!

I seriously can't believe Maia is turning 1 already!! They just grow up way too fast, don't they? I hope Maia has lots of fun going to town on her birthday cake! I'm sure River will love seeing those pictures!
Hey Crescent, that's crazy that you and Megan ended up in Buffalo together. Your little girl is so cute. It looks like she is quite the signer. We have the Signing Time videos also, Max loves them! Jenny on your friends list is my cousin, it's so funny who you can find following people's links! Hope things are going great. I really am jealous of the weather in Buffalo.
